Land use planning and development near Enbridge pipelines

We are reaching out to you as your municipality has Enbridge liquid pipeline infrastructure situated in its boundaries. In support of Enbridge’s damage prevention and integrity management program, we ask that your municipality consult with Enbridge, early and often, before any development near our assets.

All planning, land use, subdivision and development permit applications near Enbridge liquid pipeline infrastructure should be circulated to notifications@enbridge.com. We have prepared the guideline below to outline the different types of notifications Enbridge requires during the planning and land development process, when we require notification, and how to get in touch.

We have developed an online map that identifies the approximate location of Enbridge liquid pipeline infrastructure and regulated areas where notification is required within your municipality.
