March 15, 3 p.m. — Microaggressions: The Camouflaged Barrier to Equity In this workshop, facilitated by Diversity and Human Rights, participants will learn to recognize and combat different forms of microaggressions in themselves and others at MRU and beyond. Register online.
March 30, 6 p.m. — Paul Brandt will host an Evening of Resistance, Resilience and Recovery at the Bella Concert Hall Evening includes: TED-style talks; performances with special guests; selection of screenings celebrating women and raising awareness of Canada's missing and murdered Indigenous women and global survivors of human trafficking; and a public art project, which will be presented to the Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair, Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada, and Commissionaires' Dr. Marie Wilson, and Chief Wilton Littlechild who will receive the 2016 Calgary Peace Prize in April.
