Brad Mahon, PhD appointed Director of The Conservatory

Joining Mount Royal on Jan. 3, Mahon comes to us from his current appointment as manager, Visual and Performing Arts with the Conservatory of Music and Dance with Medicine Hat College, and previously as head of the Conservatory of Performing Arts with the University of Regina. He has earned both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in guitar performance from the University of Calgary, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Musicology, also from the U of C.

On Nov. 30, goodbye MRwave, hello MRvisitor

On Nov. 30, 2016, ITS is rolling out the MRvisitor wireless network service to provide free wireless connectivity for basic Internet service to all visitors to Mount Royal University. At that time, the MRwave wireless service will be discontinued. Find more information on MyMRU Announcements.

Start of semester emails, with option for distribution list sign up

As each semester begins (Aug./Sept.) (Dec./Jan.), areas with ongoing employee activites can send an email to employees describing the semester's activities. Employees can then opt in to a distribution list, such as Google Groups, to get updates. Emails can be sent here.
