Student to attend Jack Summit
Peer health educator and resident advisor Kara Plotnikoff has been chosen to attend the Jack Summit conference. The Jack Summit (March 4 to 6, 2016) brings Canadian students together for a three-day conference in Toronto to foster a Canada-wide network of passionate and committed advocates for mental health awareness. Last year, Sarah Bolton and Simmi Grewal were picked to attend. Student involvement in the conference is an important part of MRU's effort to make mental health a high priority for our campus.
