Flanders Interchange opening Nov. 1

A year of waiting is over! The new Flanders Interchange is set to open on Nov. 1. There will be a celebration on Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the new bridge, with a fall festival and market, free food and beverages, performances, activities and games. See your new route to campus at Flanders Interchange website. Thank you for your patience during this project!

Campus sustainability activities Oct. 25 to 27 on Main Street

Held every October, Campus Sustainability Month is an international celebration of sustainability in higher education. Recycle your electronics, donate your books, repurpose old clothes and costumes, buy a plant from the greenhouse, win prizes, make art from trash and more. See mru.ca/sustainability.

Mount Royal's School of Nursing and Midwifery is joining the College and Association of Registered Nurses in Alberta (CARNA) in celebrating 100 years of registered nursing in Alberta. They will recognize achievements of the past and look forward to the next century of nursing. A historical centennial display will be on Main Street until Oct. 28.

As each semester begins (Aug./Sept.) (Dec./Jan.), areas with ongoing employee activites can send an email to employees describing the semester's activities. Employees can then opt in to a distribution list, such as Google Groups, to get updates. Emails can be sent here.
