Flanders Interchange opening Nov. 1

A year of waiting is over! The new Flanders Interchange is set to open on Nov. 1. There will be a celebration on Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the new bridge, with a fall festival and market, free food and beverages, performances, activities and games. School of Nursing and Midwifery celebrates 100 years

Mount Royal's School of Nursing and Midwifery is joining the College and Association of Registered Nurses in Alberta (CARNA) in celebrating 100 years of registered nursing in Alberta. They will recognize achievements of the past and look forward to the next century of nursing. A historical centennial display will be on Main Street until Oct. 28.


Using obsolete analog print technologies to study creativity

The Carriage Station: Print History Workshop celebrates print culture and writing. In the Faculty of Arts, the Carriage Station houses and tends to obsolete analog print technologies. Founded by derek beaulieu, Kit Dobson and Richard Harrison, the space is geared toward hands-on learning about how print is made, how print arrives in readers’ hands and how print affects the very works that writers produce. Workshops to play with old technology, support events and accept donations can be arragned by contacting Kit or derek.
