The Working Mind — Workplace Mental Health and Wellness SessionDec. 17 from 1 p.m to 4:30 p.m. The Working Mind is an education-based program designed for the workplace. This 3.5 hour workshop was created by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and will be facilitated by MRU trained staff and faculty. Register at prodev@mtroyal.ca.
Research, Scholarship and Community Engagement Dayswill be held March 21 to 24. A call for proposals will go out in the new year, with a deadline of Feb. 12. Check out the details here.

Effective Team Award Nominations now open The Effective Team Award recognizes and rewards employees who work together collaboratively as a team or group and whose work is significantly beneficial to the College. Nominations are to be submitted to the Vice President, Student Affairs and Campus Life and must be submitted by Jan. 31, 2016. Summit magazine garners three CASE Awards
The 2015 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VIII Communication Awards recently recognized the 2015 Spring edition of Summit magazine in three categories. For Print General Interest Magazines, circulation 30,000-74,999, Summit received a Gold, and another Gold was awarded in the Series of Related Photographs category for the "She wants you!" spread. The issue's cover received a Bronze in that category. Summit's creators will be on-hand to receive the awards at the CASE District VIII conference on Feb. 5, 2016.
